For the last few years, I've planned and led leadership summits and international empowerment, writing, and adventure workshops in Guadeloupe, Peru, and Cameroon through my nonprofit organization, Advice Project Media. Most of these experiences have been designed for youth and women. I will continue to lead these amazing, life-changing trips, but now I also want to create retreats for people just like me: solo traveling women over 40.

My first Travel Solo After 40 retreat will take place on Guadeloupe, a gorgeous island in the French Caribbean. I haven't yet officially launched news of the retreat, but it will combine all of the things I love: morning writing workshops and adventure (hiking, kayaking, and snorkeling), and wonderful afternoons of learning about food, cooking, and culture at museums and restaurants as well as some evening dance and music classes.
